    About Course

Political information is now part of everyday digital life. You may come across it while scrolling through social media, watching videos, reading online news, receiving private messages or seeing sponsored posts. Sometimes we search for politics. Sometimes politics finds us.

This free course helps you understand how political content appears and travels online, how to evaluate what you see and how to react and respond responsibly.

The course is organised around three key dimensions of digital political literacy: functional, analytical and attitudinal. These dimensions help you understand how platforms work, how political messages can inform or mislead and how citizens can take part in online discussions in a more responsible and democratic way.

Through a series of short video lessons and a final quiz, you will learn how to recognise political content in different digital spaces, check claims and sources, identify emotional or misleading messages and think before liking, sharing or commenting.
